Before and After School Programs

Registration Information for the 2023-2024 School Year

All students that are currently attending an Extended Learning Before and After School Program must create a new account and registration contract to continue attending for the duration of the 2023-2024 school year. If you have previously registered for Community Ed classes, Success Zone classes, GEMS event, Family U event, Explore Houston, or Academy of Inspiring Minds classes, then you already have an Eleyo account, however a registration contract will still need to be completed.

 

Students that are not currently enrolled in Extended Learning at a campus can submit a registration however only students that have been attending a before or after school program will be accepted at this time.  There are several campuses that remain on a wait list for the duration of the 2023-2024 school year.  

Register for Little Learners

Little Learners

Before and after school program for students in Pre-K.

Students that meet the eligibility requirements for Pre-K can register for the tuition-based before and after school program. Students must be able to toilet independently and have a basic level of self-care in order to be accepted into the Little Learners Program.

All District Pre-K campuses offer before and after school programs for registered Pre-K students.

Extended Day

Before and after school program for students in Grades K - 5.

Students in grades K - 5 currently enrolled in a FBISD elementary school are eligible to be registered for the Extended Day before and after school program.

Club Excel

Before and after school program for students in Grades 6 - 8.

Students in grades 6 - 8 at the following FBISD middle schools are eligible for Club Excel program registration:

  • Bowie Middle School
  • First Colony Middle School
  • Fort Settlement Middle School (AM Only)
  • Garcia Middle School (AM Only)
  • Sartartia Middle School

Program Options 

Mornings

  • Open before school begins - a great way to avoid the morning drop off lines.
  • Full service days and early dismissal days are available for an additional fee.
  • Afternoons are not available with this option. 
  • Spring Break and summer programs are an additional cost. 

Afternoons (Mornings Included) 

  • Provides care from school dismissal until 6:30 p.m.  
  • Early dismissal days are included.
  • Includes elementary school full service days when the program is open on student holidays from 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. for no additional charge. 
  • As an added bonus, the morning program is included at no additional cost.  Whether your need is one day a year or every day, the program is open before school begins for your convenience. 
  • Spring break and summer programs are an additional weekly fee.

Registration Information 

An application must be submitted for any student interested in attending a program during the school year. Please select the Season and Location that your child will be attending. You will need to answer all registration questions and select the preferred schedule (Mornings, both Morning and Afternoon combo, etc.).  

You will receive two emails, confirmation once application is submitted, and confirmation when your application is approved by staff. Each application is reviewed and approved and this process can take up to two weeks. 

There are many campuses that are currently on a waitlist and are not accepting students at this time.  Applications can continue to be submitted however they will not be processed until a spot becomes available at the campus.  Students cannot attend until they have been accepted into the program.
