Before & After School Programs
Success Zone is the youth component of FBISD's Community Education Program.
Lessons will take place in a 13-foot-deep pool. Students at this level should be able to tread water independently and successfully complete a swim test to participate in lessons held in the competition pool.
Day 1: Students will go through stroke refreshers. Lessons will be based on their proficiency of the various strokes. Water safety rules will also be presented.
Day 2: Continuation of different swim strokes. Lessons include diving and increasing swimming endurance.
Day 3: Water safety is revisited. Lessons continue focusing on any swim strokes that students would like to advance on.
Day 4: Students get to display what they have learned in an Olympic-style fashion. This includes relay races and other fun activities.
