FBISD Extended Learning Department

Young engineers will dive into the exciting world of mechanical engineering through hands-on design challenges that bring science and creativity together. Students will explore how forces, motion, and energy work by designing and testing their own catapults and building rubber band–powered cars. Through these engaging activities, participants will learn how engineers plan, build, test, and improve their designs while developing problem-solving, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills. This interactive experience encourages curiosity and innovation as students discover how everyday machines are engineered to move and perform work. Instructed by: FBISD Certified CTE Teacher
