Our One-Day Programs offer students exciting opportunities to learn, explore, and have fun on select days when school is not in session. Whether participating in a Full-Service Day, discovering new interests through the Academy of Inspiring Minds (AIM), or experiencing educational adventures with Explore Houston, students enjoy engaging activities in a safe, enriching environment led by caring and experienced staff. Full Service Day Full-Service Days provide elementary students with a fun, engaging experience through rotating activities in art, physical education, and technology. Students express their creativity through hands-on art projects, stay active with group games and fitness activities, and explore interactive learning using Smart Boards and FBISD-approved educational websites. Explore Houston Explore Houston is an excursion program that takes students on educational, cultural, recreational, and hands-on adventures across the greater Houston area. Open to district and non-district students in grades 2–7, the program encourages exploration, inspires curiosity, and creates lasting memories through unique learning experiences. AIM Day Camp The Academy of Inspiring Minds (AIM) is an enrichment program that gives students hands-on opportunities to explore new interests and develop skills through engaging classes in arts, culinary, dance, fine arts, languages, STEM, and more. Students rotate through different classes for a fun and well-rounded learning experience.
