FBISD Extended Learning Department

Students will put their engineering skills to the test through hands-on challenges like Egg Drop Engineering and the Parachute Design Challenge. Using creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, students will design and build protective systems that slow a falling object and prevent damage. These activities introduce key aerospace concepts such as gravity, air resistance, and safe landings—all while having fun experimenting and learning from trial and error.
