Drumline is an exciting course within the world of marching percussion where marching snares, tenors, and basses are the focus! This is a performance class where students learn the value of teamwork, rhythm, and count. All equipment will be provided during class. Week Skills Lesson/Activity 1 Counting and Constructing a Beat Students will learn the principals of counting and construct a beat that incorporates the hi-hats, snare drum, and bass drum. 2 Holding Drum Sticks Students will learn how to hold drum sticks properly and start playing on drum pads. 3 Playing Snare Drums and Drum Set Posture Students will learn the proper posture when playing the drums. 4 Counting Students will learn about counting and playing at the same time. 5 Singles and Doubles Students will learn singles and doubles and practice with a metronome. 6 Song Selection, Singles and Doubles (continuation) Students will select a song and practice the beats. 7 Practice for Recital, Singles and Doubles (continuation) Students will continue to practice for their recital performance. 8 Recital Day Parents will be invited to the last class to see their child’s performance.

Get ready to dribble, shoot, and score in our action-packed basketball program designed specifically for elementary school students! In this class, kids will learn essential basketball skills while having a blast on the court. Our experienced coaches foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. Week Skills Lesson/Activity 1 Intro to Basketball Learn coordination and conditioning. 2 Dribbling Basics Learn how to properly dribble a basketball. 3 Passing + Catching Practice chest and bounce passes. 4 Shooting Techniques Learn layups and practice free throws. 5 Defensive Skills Work on defensive drills, such as closeout defense and steal and recover. 6 Offensive Strategies Work on offensive drills, such as fast breaks and pick and roll. 7 Teamwork + Communication Learn how to work together as a team. 8 Review + Game Play Review what we learned and hold scrimmages.

Adventure Quest in Latin America is an exciting, immersive thematic unit that takes children on a vibrant cultural journey through México, Perú, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile. Throughout the unit, students explore each country’s geography, traditions, music, animals, foods, and famous landmarks while building Spanish vocabulary and practicing simple conversational structures. Through interactive games, storytelling, and movement-based activities, children experience the rich diversity of Latin America in a playful and engaging way. Each class highlights a destination, allowing students to compare cultures, celebrate unique traditions, and develop cultural awareness while strengthening language skills in a dynamic, fun, and exploratory learning environment. We offer a different thematic unit each semester so children can keep learning about different things and stay engaged while learning Spanish. Families will have access to our digital platform, where they can download songs, games, activities, guides, and the complete thematic unit book. Week Curriculum/Thematic Topic 1 Thematic Curriculum: México - Land of colors and traditions (Part 1): The students will learn about México’s unique cultural traditions and famous landmarks, will learn vocabulary related to family, food, music, celebrations, and greetings in Spanish, and will practice using these words in simple sentence structures while engaging in activities that introduce Mexican history and daily life. 2 Thematic Curriculum: México - Music, Legends, Art, and Creativity (Part 2): The students will learn about Mexican music, dance, legends, and artistic traditions, will expand their vocabulary by learning words related to animals, artwork, and cultural symbols, and will use this vocabulary in simple conversational structures as they explore Mexican storytelling, art, and movement-based activities. 3 Thematic Curriculum: Perú – Landscapes, Culture, and Inca Wonders (Part 1): The students will learn about the country of Perú, including its diverse landscapes and the ancient Inca civilization, and will learn vocabulary to describe mountains, rivers, jungles, and cultural symbols, and will use these words in simple sentence structures while discussing the significance of Machu Picchu and other important places in Perú. 4 Thematic Curriculum: Perú – Animals, Festivals, Art, and Daily Life (Part 2): The students will learn about Peruvian animals, festivals, music, and artistic traditions, and will learn vocabulary to describe animals, foods, celebrations, and dances, and will use it in simple sentence structures as they participate in activities that explore Peruvian daily life, legends, and cultural celebrations. 5 Thematic Curriculum: Argentina – Landmarks, and Gaucho Culture (Part 1): The students will learn about Argentina’s cultural traditions such as tango and gaucho life, and will learn vocabulary to describe dances, traditions, landmarks, and cultural symbols, and will use it in simple sentence structures while discussing important places and cultural practices found throughout Argentina. 6 Thematic Curriculum: Argentina – Sports, Weather, Patagonia, and Everyday Traditions (Part 2): The students will learn about Argentine sports, foods, and the landscapes of Patagonia, and will learn vocabulary to describe weather, seasons, sports, and foods, and will use it in simple sentence structures while discussing how climate and daily traditions vary across different regions of Argentina. 7 Thematic Curriculum: Colombia – Biodiversity, Culture, and Daily Life (Part 1): The students will learn about Colombia’s diverse landscapes and animals, and will learn vocabulary to describe wildlife, food, and daily life in Colombia and learn to use it in simple sentence structures, and will discuss how Colombia’s different regions—from the Amazon rainforest to the Caribbean coast—offer unique cultural and natural experiences. 8 Review; final showcase.

The world is being taken over by slime! Students will ooze with excitement as they create a magical unicorn mac and cheese slime to using chemical reactions to make a ring of fire slime. This squishy, squashy, sensational slime adventure is sure to sell out in a flash, so enroll today! Week Challenge name Description 1 Hot Dog Slime Inspired by the Dog Man book, students will create Evil Hog Dog Slime. Mini challenge: Vending machine - Design a unique snack that can be dispensed from a vending machine. 2 Italian Flag Ice Slime This icy slime recipe features the colors of the Italian flag. Mini challenge - Leaning Tower - Create a tower that leans against the wall. 3 Queen of Hearts Slime Create a shiny and sparkly red slime using Queen of Hearts cards. Mini challenge - Flying feather - Build the tallest structure by placing a feather on top and see how far you can blow it. 4 Bento Box Slime Make the slime based on the popular Japanese bento box slime. Mini challenge- Famous Landmark challenge-use the materials to design and build a famous landmark of your team's choice. 5 Blueberry Bubblegum Slime Make a tasty, but non-edible blueberry bubblegum slime. Learn how maple syrup is native to Canada and how the indigenous people there discovered a way to make delicious maple syrup.
