This high-energy program introduces children to the fundamentals of cheerleading in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment. Each week, students will learn fun cheers, chants, dance routines, and jumps while building confidence, teamwork, coordination, and leadership. Throughout the semester, students will build a fun performance routine to showcase for family and friends. No previous cheer experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and a big smile! Discover the fun and creativity of sewing in this hands-on class designed for beginners! Students will learn essential sewing skills, including threading needles, tying knots, creating basic stitches, and following simple patterns. As their confidence grows, they will apply these techniques to create a variety of projects to take home and enjoy. Week Lesson 1 Safety talk and rules (needles, pins, scissors, workspace, etc.) Learning the dos and don’ts on the sewing machine. Each child will be given their own sketch book. 2 Learn how to thread a needle and tie a knot. (Practice with yarn and plastic needles). Work on a sketch. Learn how to sew on a machine. 3 Hand sewing. Work on a sketch and learning the variations of fabric along with cutting out patterns. 4 Stitch sewing on the sewing machine. Sew along pre-drawn lines, curves, and corners. 5-9 Prior week’s 1-4 will roll into weeks 5-9 along with sewing and designing. 10 Sewing design presentation.

Our soccer class is designed for students interested in learning the foundational skills and concepts of the game in a supportive and energetic environment. Instruction will focus on essential techniques such as proper footwork, passing, trapping, scoring, and basic defensive and offensive movement. Students will participate in age-appropriate drills and guided game-like activities that promote coordination, spatial awareness, quick thinking, and confidence in the field. Throughout the program, players will practice teamwork, communication, and fair play while developing a strong understanding of how the game works. Each student will receive a T-shirt. The Global Leadership & Culture Track prepares elementary students to become globally minded leaders through Spanish language instruction, cultural exploration, geography, and project-based learning. Students build communication skills while exploring the diversity of Spanish-speaking countries and learning how young people can positively impact their communities and the world. Throughout the semester, students develop the ACTFL communication skills of Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational Communication while strengthening the 4 Cs of 21st Century Learning—Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity. Students also explore age-appropriate concepts from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through engaging projects that encourage empathy, leadership, and global citizenship.
