Students step into the role of contemporary ceramic artists as they explore how modern sculptors use clay to experiment with form, color, scale, pattern, and storytelling. Inspired by artists such as Magdalene Odundo, Grayson Perry, Viola Frey, and Jun Kaneko, students create original vessels, figures, and sculptural forms while hand-building and surface-design skills. Week Lesson Title Lesson Description & Objectives 1 Contemporary Clay Challenge Students complete short buildings and join challenges and learn how moisture, thickness, balance, and strong connections affect the durability of a sculpture. 2 Odundo-Inspired Vessel Students combine pinch and coil techniques to construct a small vessel inspired by Magdalene Odundo and learn how silhouette, proportion, and negative space shape a three-dimensional form. 3 Perry-Inspired Story Plaque Students create a layered clay plaque inspired by Grayson Perry and learn how carved symbols, low-relief images, borders, and repeated patterns communicate a story. 4 Painting Form and Story Students paint their vessels and story plaques and learn how limited color palettes, contrast, line, and repeated motifs can strengthen the meaning and visual unity of an artwork. 5 Frey-Inspired Character Bust Students sculpt a stable character bust inspired by Viola Fray and learn how expression, clothing, texture, scale, and exaggerated proportions can communicate personality. 6 Woodman-Inspired Sculptural Vase Students create a compact vase-inspired sculpture using slabs, curved pieces, and low-profile attachments and learn how artists can transform a familiar functional form into abstract art. 7 Painting Expression and Abstraction Students paint their character busts and sculptural vases and learn how color, pattern, emphasis, and unexpected combinations can change the mood and meaning of a sculpture 8 Kaneko-Inspired Dango Sculpture Students build an oval sculpture inspired by Jun Kaneko and learn how balance, smooth surfaces, repetition, and bold pattern planning can make a simple form visually powerful. 9 Contemporary Clay Mash-up Students create an original sculpture that combines at least two artists, techniques, or design ideas and learn how artists transform inspiration into a new concept. 10 Painting Personal Style and Exhibition Students paint their Dango sculptures and original mash-up projects, arrange their finished work, and create short artist statements. They learn how color, pattern, technique, and presentation help artists develop and communicate a personal style.

Young investigators step into the role of crime scene scientists to solve an exciting mystery. Through hands-on activities like fingerprinting, chromatography, evidence analysis, and observation challenges to, students build logical reasoning while applying the scientific method. Each lesson adds new clues that lead to a collaborative “whodunit” finale, where teams use their skills to crack the case with confidence Week Lesson Title Lesson Description & Objectives 1 Observation Power Students investigate a staged crime scene and learn how detectives use observation and memory skills to gather evidence. 2 Fingerprint Science Students create fingerprint cards and learn how forensic scientists classify fingerprint patterns. 3 Lifting Prints Students dust and lift fingerprints from simulated evidence and learn how investigators recover hidden prints. 4 Hair & Fiber Analysis Students compare mystery fibers to fabric samples and learn how trace evidence connects suspects to a crime scene. 5 Footprints & Impressions Students create shoe impressions and learn how investigators use footprints to estimate height and identify suspects. 6 Mystery Powders Students test mystery powders and learn how forensic chemists identify unknown substances safely. 7 Chromatography & Ink Analysis Students separate ink pigments and learn how chromatography helps investigators identify writing tools. 8 Handwriting & Document Analysis Students reveal hidden messages using invisible ink and compare handwriting samples to learn how forensic scientists analyze chemical and written evidence. 9 Witness Interviews & Memory Students analyze witness statements and learn how eyewitness memory can be unreliable. 10 Building the Timeline Students organize evidence into a timeline and learn how detectives reconstruct events chronologically.

Students will learn the fundamentals of pickleball, including paddle control, serving, rallying, court movement, and basic game play through exciting drills, skill-building activities, and friendly games. Learning to play the piano is a fun and rewarding way for students to express themselves, build confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music. In this engaging class, students will learn fundamental piano techniques, basic music theory, and keyboard skills through hands-on instruction and practice. Whether they are sitting at the piano for the first time or building on existing skills, students will enjoy creating music while developing their musical abilities. All equipment will be provided during class. Week Lesson 1 Students will be introduced to Middle C and Finger and Numbers. 2 Students will then learn the value of Middle C - Teach them about putting their hands in Middle C position (LH on F-G-A-B-C, RH on C-D-E-F-G, thumbs sharing Middle C). 3 Teach a basic warm-up — Piano alphabet and numbers. Learning to hear various keystrokes. 4 New song introduced along with various key stroke warmups. 5 Learning notes/warm-ups on keystrokes. 6 New song introduced along with various keystroke warmups. Battle of the Bots is a great way to learn how technologies like programming, sensors, gears, and mechanics work, all while having fun! Students will learn the fundamentals of mechanical engineering as they team up to build robotic systems and compete against one another in tasks such as sumo-wrestling, tug-o-war, head-to-head combat, and much more! By the end of the class, students will put their skills to the test and see who can build the best battle bot. Week Lesson/Activity 1 Students are introduced to their first VEX robot and learn the basics behind building one. 2 Students do an introductory battle with limited supplies for building and explore the engineering design process. 3 Students explore the distance and color sensors on the robot and begin exploring block-based programming. 4 Students put their skills to the test by navigating a maze using only the color sensor and coding. 5 Students will explore the rest of the available sensors: the bumping sensor and gyro sensor, as well as motors. 6 Students will learn about gear ratios to do a run of 3 events: Battle Bots, Soccer, and Racing. 7 Students will begin programming a fully automatic battle bot and add their own sensors to win the competition. 8 Students begin the last few weeks of battling, with an emphasis on exploring different designs to get the best outcome. 9 Students begin working on their final projects: Building and branding their battle bots for the final competition. 10 Students have the ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN in our final battle showcase.

Our trained and verified coaches combine athletics, academics, and life lessons to create fun and engaging golf programs. We include sport skill development, rules, and etiquette lessons, physical activity, and a STEAM component that examines the concepts through the lens of the sport. All equipment is provided.
