Come serve it up with TGA Premier Youth Tennis! TGA’s curriculum includes games, drills and physical fitness activities that improve motor skills, agility, and hand-eye coordination. Every TGA class focuses on academic concepts developed by educational experts, the rules and etiquette of tennis and skill development. Our goal is to not only develop our students’ tennis skills, but to give children the building blocks for future achievement on the tennis court and in life. All equipment will be provided. Each student will receive a cap and T-shirt.

1 Basic Tennis Concepts, Forehand Review class rules, basic tennis concepts, warm up exercises and learn how to hit forehand
2 Foot Work Warm up exercises, drills for foot work, continue practicing forehand
3 Foot Work (continuation) Warm up exercises, drills for foot work, continue practicing forehand
4 Backhand and Racket Control Warm up exercises, drills for foot work, racket control exercises, continue practicing forehand and start on how to hit backhand
5 Backhand and Racket Control (continuation) Warm up exercises, drills for foot work, racket control exercises, continue practicing forehand and start on how to hit backhand
6 Foot Work and Speed, Hand-eye Coordination Warm up exercises, drills for foot work and speed, hand-eye coordination games and exercises, continue practicing forehand and backhand
7 Hand-eye Coordination, Hitting volley Warm up exercises, drills for foot work and speed, hand-eye coordination games and exercises, continue practicing forehand and backhand, start learning how to hit volley
8 How to Serve Warm up exercises, drills for foot work and speed, hand-eye coordination games and exercises, continue practicing forehand, backhand and volleys, start on how to serve
9 How to Serve (continuation) Warm up exercises, drills for foot work and speed, hand-eye coordination games and exercises, continue practicing forehand, backhand and volleys, how to serve
10 Parent Showcase Parents will be invited to see all the skills that students learned during class.
