    The world is being taken over by slime! Students will ooze with excitement as they create a magical unicorn mac and cheese slime to using chemical reactions to make a ring of fire slime. This squishy, squashy, sensational slime adventure is sure to sell out in a flash, so enroll today! Week Challenge name Description 1 Cheese Day Create a magical unicorn mac and cheese slime. Instant STEAM Challenge: Engineer a house for a mouse with only the materials provided. You will have only 10 minutes to complete your challenge. 2 Flaming Hot Cheeto Slime Recognize the chemical reaction and science of slime and get ready to make this fiery slime recipe that uses real Flamin' Hot Cheetos! Instant STEAM Challenge: Shifting Chips, teams will think of ways of using the materials to move the plastic chips into the matching-colored circle using only the materials given! 3 Ghana Chocolate Glossy Learn about the country of Ghana and how it produces the highest amount of cocoa beans. Make Glossy Chocolate Slime! Instant STEAM Challenge: is to build a structure that is as tall as possible on top of pegs and that rests on as few pegs as possible. 4 Hogwarts Butterbeer Slime Convert the world-famous wizard drink Butterbeer into SLIME!! Instant STEAM Challenge: Use your IMAGINATION to create your soft drink, design the label, and plan your commercial. 5 Dracula Blood Glossy Learn about different blood types and make Dracula blood slime!   • Cheer with I Adore Athletics

    Our IAC Cheer program will provide your participant with all the spirit, cheers, chants, jumps and dancing they can handle! We also incorporate social emotional learning or SEL activities that focus on team building, problem solving, social awareness and more! Participants will learn new skills each week and at the end of our cheer program; students will have built the confidence to put on an exciting cheerleading showcase with a full routine of the cheers, chants, jumps and dances!   • Stop Motion Animation

    Students will conceptualize original characters and bring them to life with photographs, clay or objects. Hands-on projects will cover the fundamentals of animation utilizing such techniques as flipbooks, paper cutouts, claymation and stop-motion animation. Invent your own story and characters and watch them come to life with a few moves. Week Skills Lesson/Activity 1 What is animation and why is it magic? Students will learn how still images create the illusion of motion by exploring fun examples like flipbooks, Claymation, and early cartoons. They will discover the roots of animation through prej-film “magic tricks” such as thaumatropes and zoetropes. 2 Create a character and background Each student will create a background and simple character to complete their own short stop motion animation. Completed animation will be screened for the class. 3 Understanding frames Students will create their own flipbooks to learn how repetition, sequencing, and timing affect the animation. 4 Character animation revisited Students will illustrate a background and character on paper to create a scene. Concepts like anticipation, squash and stretch, and timing will be introduced. 5 Anime found objects Students will animate found objects (pencils, paper, rocks, etc.) to create a short story or visual pattern. 6 Foil figure animation Students will use aluminum foil to build poseable characters with moveable joints. Once constructed, these figures will be used to create a short stop animation that tells a brief story or depicts a clear action. The focus will be on expressing character and emotion through physical movement, without relying on dialogue. 7 Plan and start animation Students will choose one or more animation styles they’ve learned and work individually or in groups to develop a final animation project using any method explored during the course. 8 Final showcase The program concludes with a celebration of student work. All completed animations will be screened.

Shine a little love as you visit gardens in Ireland and create happy and surprised pumpkin faces as you discover traditions in Scotland. Grab your lantern to light the way for an exploration of feathery painting, collage, stamping, weaving and much more. Week Lesson/Activity 1 Shine Your Light Doodle Create a wire sculpture with pipe cleaners, contact paper, and ribbons while adding patterns using tissue paper and washi tape. 2 Global Love Box Doodle Draw a three-dimensional box and explore patterns, color and symbols using watered markers and heart shapes cut from textured and patterned papers. 3 Brazilian Carnival Color Wheel Doodle Create a dancer in a Carnival costume using feathers and other embellishments while learning about primary and secondary colors. 4 English May Day Flowers Doodle Assemble a flower maypole using ribbons and washi tape to make a flower with colorful patterns. Wrap yarn and natural objects around a stick to create the pole. 5 USA Fireworks Doodle Create a relief sculpture of a cardboard city skyline and use tempera paint to depict fireworks. 6 Israeli Light Celebration Doodle Create a menorah with nine candles and use markers and colored pencils to design each candle with Zentangle patterns. 7 USA Thanksgiving Doodle Use tempera paint to explore finger painting and paint with feathers to create a turkey on poster board. 8 Showcase / Artist Challenge Children will select the materials for their creative inspiration and parents will be invited to join in on the fun.
  • Minecraft: Adventures of Modding

    Students will learn how to customize and enhance their Minecraft experience through creativity and coding. They’ll start by getting familiar with Minecraft basics and pixel art before diving into modding with WorldEdit, where they’ll create and edit structures using simple commands. As they progress, they’ll use MCreator to design their own custom items, blocks, ores, recipes, tools, and armor, giving their creations unique abilities. In the final stretch, they’ll bring everything together by building their very own custom biome, which they’ll showcase to parents in a final presentation. Week Skill Lesson/Activity 1 Introduction to Minecraft Students learn the basics of Minecraft and controls on the keyboard. 2 Pixel Art Students learn what pixel art is and practice art skills. 3 Introduction to Mods Part 1 Students are introduced to Minecraft modding via WorldEdit, which allows the user to create block brushes. 4 Mods Part 2 Students continue using WordEdit and the selection wand. 5 Introduction to MCreator Students get to make their very first mod with MCreator and own custom “ingot” item. 6 Blocks in MCreator Students learn how to make their own custom block and how to change its properties. 7 Final Project: Biome Students begin work on their final project, which is creating their own biome. 8 Final Project: Biome and Presentation. Students will finish up their biomes, then present their biome and other mod elements to their parents.

    Does your child LOVE to cook? Do you have a picky eater? This introductory level food literacy program teaches simple cooking techniques, food origins, seasonal recipes, and kitchen safety while having hands-on fun! Students gain self- confidence and priceless life skills while reinforcing core academics. Each session brings a different themed syllabus. This class can accommodate nut allergies. Instructors are professionally trained classroom educators, chefs, or nutritionists. We will accommodate nut allergies only.
