  • Drone Adventures

    The drones are here! Let the battles begin. In this hands-on, interactive class, you will learn how to safely fly drone robots. Working in teams, you will be able to code your drone to compete in missions that will prepare you for the ultimate team challenge at the end of the week. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. Week Lesson/Activity 1 Learn basic flight safety and takeoff. Create student accounts, explore drone safety rules, and perform a first flight (stable hover and safe landing). 2 Understand flight physics and manual steering. Explore how propellers affect movement, navigate obstacle courses using manual controls, and begin basic speed trials. 3 Introduction to drone programming. Complete the basic sprint/laps challenge, link drones to computers, and begin coding autonomous shapes. 4 Program elevation changes. Finish automated shape-drawing flight paths and code vertical movement controls. 5 Master hurdle races and multi-axis movement. Compete in the automated hurdle race and start programming complex movements along multiple axes simultaneously. 6 Execute automated geometric patterns. Finalize multi-axis programming and utilize the Move block to guide the drone through vertical octagons. 7 Apply advanced manual flight mechanics. Practice coordinated rotation and pitch exercises, then compete in a manual slalom race. 8 Integrate hardware sensors. Read physical sensor telemetry within RoboLink and begin programming automated hover adjustments. 9 Program logic and perform tricks. Apply conditional logic (if/then statements) for automated altitude control and perform manual aerial flips. 10 Synthesize skills for the final showcase. Design a final comprehensive obstacle course, complete the ultimate trial, and execute automated drone choreography.
  • Electronics & Robotics

    In this hands-on program, students explore electronics, coding, and robotics through engaging Arduino-based projects. Using sensors, motors, and microcontrollers, they build interactive creations such as LED displays, automated systems, and object-detection devices while developing programming, creativity, problem-solving, and engineering skills. Students gain experience connecting hardware and software to solve real-world challenges—and by the end of the semester, each student takes home a robot or invention they designed, built, and programmed themselves. They explore basic components, circuits, and coding concepts. 2 Programmable Holiday Light Display Students create a festive light display by wiring RGB LEDs and using block-based coding to program colorful lighting effects, patterns, and blinking sequences. 3 RFID Access Control System Students learn how RFID technology is used in everyday applications by creating a secure access control system that identifies RFID cards or tags and grants access when authorized. 4 LED Brightness Control Students explore Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) by adjusting the brightness of an LED using a potentiometer, simulating real-world dimmer controls. 5 SunRise Bloom: Smart Sunflower Alarm Inspired by nature, students build a sunflower-themed sunrise alarm that uses light effects and motion to simulate a natural morning wake-up experience. 6 Interactive Joystick Light Controller Students use a joystick and push-button switch to control LEDs, learning how user input can be used to interact with electronic systems. 7 Digital Message Display System Students learn how to connect and program a display screen to show custom messages, introducing the basics of digital communication and user interfaces. 8 Autonomous Obstacle Avoidance Robot Students design and program a mobile robot that can detect and avoid obstacles using sensors and motors, introducing key concepts in robotics, automation, and autonomous navigation. 9 Radar System Students create an object-detection radar that scans its surroundings using an ultrasonic sensor and servo motor, displaying the location of nearby objects in real time. 10 Automatic Toll Gate Students designed a miniature automated gate that detects approaching vehicles and uses a servo motor to open and close the barrier automatically.
  • Golf

    Our trained and verified coaches combine athletics, academics, and life lessons to create fun and engaging golf programs. We include sport skill development, rules, and etiquette lessons, physical activity, and a STEAM component that examines the concepts through the lens of the sport. All equipment is provided. Grip, Aim, Stance, and Posture 2 Chipping Warm up exercises, quick review of G.A.S.P., develop an understanding of how to use the correct chipping technique 3 Putting Warm up exercises, quick review of Chipping, develop an understanding of how to use the correct putting technique 4 Half Swing Warm up exercises, quick review of Putting, learn swing cues of/and develop an understanding of when and why we use a half swing 5 L-Swing Warm up exercises, quick review of Half Swing, work to answer what is our swing cue for the half swing and what letter are we making with our arms and the club? 6 Full Swing Warm up exercises, quick review of L-Swing, work to answer what do we rotate towards the target? Learn the proper technique of the full swing. 7 Full Swing 2 Warm up exercises, quick review of Full Swing, Swing cue reminders: What shape are we making with our swing? How do we shift our weight? 8 Drivers/Woods Warm up exercises, quick review of Full Swing 2, learn the proper technique to hit a wood (Driver/Hybrid), ball position, swing cues 9 Drive, Chip, and Putt Warm up exercises, have students attempt a "Drive, Chip, Putt" contest to gauge progress! 10 Assessment Day The objective of Assessment Day is to evaluate each student’s progress in each skill to create a progress report to take home.

    Get ready for a season full of creativity, discovery, and hands-on innovation! In our Challenge Island STEM Exploration class, students will dive into exciting engineering and science challenges while building problem-solving, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills. Young innovators will explore activities such as Molecular Chemistry Challenges, creating solutions in a Pet Emergency Room, designing Mars rovers, building and testing Scribble Bots, discovering the science behind blood types, and more! To learn more visit: https://youtu.be/CUDxQYlHUuU Week Challenge Name Description 1 Molecule Maker Students will build simple molecular models using colorful playdough and toothpicks to explore how atoms connect to form molecules while developing creativity, problem-solving, and early chemistry skills. 2 Mission: Blood Science Students will explore blood components and blood types, create a slime model of blood, and design an interactive game to discover how white blood cells protect the body from infection. 3 Magic School Bus: Body Pinball Quest Students will journey through the human body with the Magic School Bus as they explore major organs and design a hands-on pinball game that builds creativity, problem-solving, and hand-eye coordination. 4 Pet Emergency Room Students will explore the role of veterinarians, discover how animals stay healthy, learn how X-rays help care for pets, and create their own animal X-ray model. 5 Pawsome Puppy Pounce Students will explore animal instincts, DNA, species, and predator-prey relationships while designing roller coasters, pulley systems, and an exciting Rube Goldberg chain reaction challenge with their STEAM Team. 6 Bot Art Lab Students will build a simple Scribble Bot to explore engineering, motion, and vibration while developing creativity, problem-solving, fine motor, and teamwork skills. 7 Simple Machine Treehouse Students will explore the six simple machines and use engineering, creativity, and problem-solving skills to design and build a working treehouse filled with moving machine elements. 8 Mighty Mars Rover Students will become space engineers as they design and build their own Mighty Mars Rover while exploring how rovers travel, solve problems, and help scientists explore the surface of Mars. 9 Dino Bone Lift Students will explore engineering and simple machines by building a working winch system to lift and transport dinosaur bones while discovering how lifting systems are used in real life. 10 Hurricane to Turbine Challenge Students will explore hurricanes, wind energy, and energy transfer while designing and building a working wind turbine to discover how wind can be converted into power.
  • Sewing

    Discover the fun and creativity of sewing in this hands-on class designed for beginners! Students will learn essential sewing skills, including threading needles, tying knots, creating basic stitches, and following simple patterns. As their confidence grows, they will apply these techniques to create a variety of projects to take home and enjoy. Week Lesson 1 Safety talk and rules (needles, pins, scissors, workspace, etc.) Learning the dos and don’ts on the sewing machine. Each child will be given their own sketch book. 2 Learn how to thread a needle and tie a knot. (Practice with yarn and plastic needles). Work on a sketch. Learn how to sew on a machine. 3 Hand sewing. Work on a sketch and learning the variations of fabric along with cutting out patterns. 4 Stitch sewing on the sewing machine. Sew along pre-drawn lines, curves, and corners. 5-9 Prior week’s 1-4 will roll into weeks 5-9 along with sewing and designing. 10 Sewing design presentation.

    Our soccer class is designed for students interested in learning the foundational skills and concepts of the game in a supportive and energetic environment. Instruction will focus on essential techniques such as proper footwork, passing, trapping, scoring, and basic defensive and offensive movement. Students will participate in age-appropriate drills and guided game-like activities that promote coordination, spatial awareness, quick thinking, and confidence in the field. Throughout the program, players will practice teamwork, communication, and fair play while developing a strong understanding of how the game works. Each student will receive a T-shirt.
