    Our cheer program will provide your participant with all the spirit, cheers, chants, jumps and dancing they can handle! We also incorporate social emotional learning or SEL activities that focus on team building, problem solving, social awareness and more! Participants will learn new skills each week and at the end of our cheer program; students will have built the confidence to put on an exciting cheerleading showcase with a full routine of the cheers, chants, jumps and dances!     Our chefs-in-training will learn how to make delicious and nutritious recipes inspired by international cuisine. We will travel across the globe to learn about cuisine and traditions of Europe, Southeast Asia, Central America, and beyond. We will learn about fresh herbs and vegetables, and how they enhance the aroma and flavors of our dishes. We will master cooking safety, slicing, dicing, chopping, folding, baking, zesting, mixing, and more! All ingredients and supplies will be provided!     Drumline is an exciting course within the world of marching percussion where marching snares, tenors, and basses are the focus! This is a performance class where students learn the value of teamwork, rhythm, and count. All equipment will be provided during class. Semester at a Glance Week Skills Lesson/Activity 1 Counting and Constructing a Beat Students will learn the principals of counting and construct a beat that incorporates the hi-hats, snare drum, and bass drum. 2 Holding Drum Sticks Students will learn how to hold drum sticks properly and start playing on drum pads. 3 Playing Snare Drums and Drum Set Posture Students will learn the proper posture when playing the drums. 4 Counting Students will learn about counting and playing at the same time. 5 Singles and Doubles Students will learn singles and doubles and practice with a metronome. 6 Song Selection, Singles and Doubles (continuation) Students will select a song and practice the beats. 7 Practice for Recital, Singles and Doubles (continuation) Students will continue to practice for their recital performance. 8 Recital Day Parents will be invited to the last class to see their child’s performance.

    Unlock the power of ROBLOX® Studio, the world creation tool used by real-world ROBLOX® developers! Learn how to build 3D models and create an adventure in your ROBLOX® world. Bring characters to life with unique animations you design. Student-created projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. Semester at a Glance Week Lesson/Activity 1 Terrain Generation and Modification – introduce Roblox Studio and learn the terrain tools. 2 Basic 3D modeling with Roblox Studio – part editing and creating models and exporting assets. 3 Create a structure and use the Roblox toolbox. 4 Advance 3D modeling with Roblox studio. 5 Free build and create character outfits. 6 Create custom non-player characters. 7 Branch dialog trees. 8 Export and apply the animations.     In iCode's Game Development course, students will gain hands-on insight into iCode’s project-based STEM curriculum, learning foundational concepts in digital arts, stop motion, and programming. Additionally, they will gain exposure to critical soft skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills needed to thrive in school and in the workplace. Semester at a Glance Week Skill Lesson/Activity 1 Introduction to Digital Art Students will create their own digital art on laptops and learn about different types of digital art. 2 Stop Motion Animation Students will create their own stop-motion video using Play-Doh or paper, learning object manipulation. 3 Digital Music Composition Students will use a program to create their own rhythm and digital song, exploring digital music. 4 3D Digital Sculpting Students will sculpt a 3D object digitally, exploring a different form of digital art. 5 Animations with Scratch Introduction to programming using Scratch to create another form of digital art, an animation. 6 Scratch Robot Creations Students will use Scratch to create fan and car robots, testing their programming skills. 7 Drill Robot Construction Students will create their own drill robot, learning about gears and motion/force. 8 Final Presentation Students will finalize their projects and present them, showcasing their skills and creativity.

Our skilled coaches promote physical health, mental-emotional wellness, positive social interactions, and cultural appreciation. As they master each step and movement participants dive into the world of dance technique, gain valuable performance experience, and hone their teamwork and leadership skills in a fun-filled supportive environment. The adrenaline they get to keep the ball in the air during a game is like no other! No prior volleyball experience is required as our coaches focus on the FUN of learning volleyball.
