Spanish for Global Citizens

Success Zone / Colony Meadows -
2026 Fall

The Global Leadership & Culture Track prepares elementary students to become globally minded leaders through Spanish language instruction, cultural exploration, geography, and project-based learning. Students build communication skills while exploring the diversity of Spanish-speaking countries and learning how young people can positively impact their communities and the world. Throughout the semester, students develop the ACTFL communication skills of Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational Communication while strengthening the 4 Cs of 21st Century Learning—Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity. Students also explore age-appropriate concepts from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through engaging projects that encourage empathy, leadership, and global citizenship.
