    Learning to play the piano is a fun and rewarding way for students to express themselves, build confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music. In this engaging class, students will learn fundamental piano techniques, basic music theory, and keyboard skills through hands-on instruction and practice. Whether they are sitting at the piano for the first time or building on existing skills, students will enjoy creating music while developing their musical abilities. All equipment will be provided during class. Week Lesson 1 Students will be introduced to Middle C and Finger and Numbers. 2 Students will then learn the value of Middle C - Teach them about putting their hands in Middle C position (LH on F-G-A-B-C, RH on C-D-E-F-G, thumbs sharing Middle C). 3 Teach a basic warm-up — Piano alphabet and numbers. Learning to hear various keystrokes. 4 New song introduced along with various key stroke warmups. 5 Learning notes/warm-ups on keystrokes. 6 New song introduced along with various keystroke warmups.     Our soccer class is designed for students interested in learning the foundational skills and concepts of the game in a supportive and energetic environment. Instruction will focus on essential techniques such as proper footwork, passing, trapping, scoring, and basic defensive and offensive movement. Students will participate in age-appropriate drills and guided game-like activities that promote coordination, spatial awareness, quick thinking, and confidence in the field. Throughout the program, players will practice teamwork, communication, and fair play while developing a strong understanding of how the game works. Each student will receive a T-shirt.   • Hooked on Crochet

    Get ready to loop, stitch, and create. Hooked on Crochet will introduce students to foundational crochet techniques, including basic stitches, pattern reading, and shaping as they work on fun and functional projects. Students will leave with completed projects and the skills to continue crocheting beyond the class. Week Lesson 1 Learning the art of Crochet. Learn how to hold the crochet needle in one hand and the yarn in the other. 2 Crochet a chain stitch and or magic ring; along with learning how to crochet by crochet. 3 Repeat weeks 1-2. 4 Students will be given a choice to select what they would like crochet for their class project: scarf, hat, critter, small blanket, pillow, mittens, etc. 5-9 Work on crochet project. 10 Crochet presentation.
  • 3D Doodling – Architectural Wonders

    Students become architects and builders as they explore columns, arches, towers, bridges, and landmarks from different places and time periods. Using 3D printing pens, students create flat structural pieces and connect them to form freestanding models. Along the way, they strengthen fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, creativity, and an understanding of how shapes work together to make structures stable. Week Lesson Title Lesson Description & Objectives 1 3Doodler Building Challenge Students practice tracing lines, filling shapes, and connecting flat pieces with a 3D printing pen and learn how strong edges, reinforced corners, and wide bases help structures stand. 2 Ancient Columns Students trace and assemble columns and learn how columns support buildings and how Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian styles use different details. 3 Roman Archways Students create arches from curved stencils and rectangular supports and learn how arches are used in doorways, bridges, and aqueducts. 4 Aqueduct Bridge Students connect repeated arch pieces to build a short aqueduct or bridge and learn how repetition and evenly spaced supports strengthen a structure. 5 Pyramid Builders Students trace triangular panels and connect them to create a pyramid and learn how triangular faces and a wide base help make stable structures. 6 Castle Construction Students assemble a castle facade or small tower using rectangles, battlements, and arch pieces and learn how walls, towers, gates, and repeated shapes define castle architecture. 7 Pagoda Tower Students stack simple square frames and roof pieces to create a tiered pagoda-inspired tower and learn how repeated levels create height, balance, and rhythm. 8 Geometric Dome Students connect a small set of triangles to create a partial dome and learn how repeated geometric pieces can form a larger three-dimensional shape. 9 World Landmark Mash-up Students combine familiar stencils to design an original landmark featuring at least two architectural elements and learn how architects adapt and combine ideas to make new structures. 10 Design Your Own Landmark Students design and build an original freestanding landmark and learn how architects use purpose, shape, balance, and decorative details to develop a complete structure.

    Come serve it up with TGA Premier Youth Tennis! TGA’s curriculum includes games, drills and physical fitness activities that improve motor skills, agility, and hand-eye coordination. Every TGA class focuses on academic concepts developed by educational experts, the rules and etiquette of tennis and skill development. Our goal is to not only develop our students’ tennis skills, but to give children the building blocks for future achievement on the tennis court and in life. All equipment will be provided. Each student will receive a cap and T-shirt.
