    Our IAC Cheer program will provide your participant with all the spirit, cheers, chants, jumps and dancing they can handle! We also incorporate social emotional learning or SEL activities that focus on team building, problem solving, social awareness and more! Participants will learn new skills each week and at the end of our cheer program; students will have built the confidence to put on an exciting cheerleading showcase with a full routine of the cheers, chants, jumps and dances!     Let’s meet INDI! This class is entry level robot that is designed to introduce early learners to the fundamentals of computational thinking, STEAM, and computer science principles. INDI encourages open ended, imaginative play-based learning with real-life scenarios as leaners build custom mazes, solve puzzles, and drive. As students learn pattern recognition, creating and using algorithms, decomposition, and understanding abstractions, they will become better thinkers and problem solvers. Week Skills Lesson/Activity 1 Introduction to Indi Students will review how to use color tiles to program Indi's movements. They will experiment with different tile combinations to navigate simple mazes. 2 Intro to Indi Commands & Colors Indi the Car and the Magical Rainbow 3 Indi Car Adventures Create a simple path following directions. 4 Indi Car and his Reventure Explore turns and directions. 5 Mini City Race time!   • Minecraft: Adventures in Modding

    Students will learn how to customize and enhance their Minecraft experience through creativity and coding. They’ll start by getting familiar with Minecraft basics and pixel art before diving into modding with WorldEdit, where they’ll create and edit structures using simple commands. As they progress, they’ll use MCreator to design their own custom items, blocks, ores, recipes, tools, and armor, giving their creations unique abilities. In the final stretch, they’ll bring everything together by building their very own custom biome, which they’ll showcase to parents in a final presentation. Week Skill Lesson/Activity 1 Introduction to Minecraft Students learn the basics of Minecraft and controls on the keyboard. 2 Pixel Art Students learn what pixel art is and practice art skills. 3 Introduction to Mods Part 1 Students are introduced to Minecraft modding via WorldEdit, which allows the user to create block brushes. 4 Mods Part 2 Students continue using WordEdit and the selection wand. 5 Introduction to MCreator Students get to make their very first mod with MCreator and own custom “ingot” item. 6 Blocks in MCreator Students learn how to make their own custom block and how to change its properties. 7 Final Project: Biome Students begin work on their final project, which is creating their own biome. 8 Final Project: Biome and Presentation. Students will finish up their biomes, then present their biome and other mod elements to their parents.

    The world of music is a beautiful place. In Piano students will learn how to play the keyboard while having fun. All equipment will be provided during class. Week Challenge name Description 1 Hot Dog Slime Inspired by the Dog Man book, students will create Evil Hog Dog Slime. Mini challenge: Vending machine - Design a unique snack that can be dispensed from a vending machine. 2 Italian Flag Ice Slime This icy slime recipe features the colors of the Italian flag. Mini challenge - Leaning Tower - Create a tower that leans against the wall. 3 Queen of Hearts Slime Create a shiny and sparkly red slime using Queen of Hearts cards. Mini challenge - Flying feather - Build the tallest structure by placing a feather on top and see how far you can blow it. 4 Bento Box Slime Make the slime based on the popular Japanese bento box slime. Mini challenge- Famous Landmark challenge-use the materials to design and build a famous landmark of your team's choice. 5 Blueberry Bubblegum Slime Make a tasty, but non-edible blueberry bubblegum slime. Try to blow the biggest bubble you can.     Adventure Quest in Latin America is an exciting, immersive thematic unit that takes children on a vibrant cultural journey through México, Perú, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile. Throughout the unit, students explore each country’s geography, traditions, music, animals, foods, and famous landmarks while building Spanish vocabulary and practicing simple conversational structures. Through interactive games, storytelling, and movement-based activities, children experience the rich diversity of Latin America in a playful and engaging way. Each class highlights a destination, allowing students to compare cultures, celebrate unique traditions, and develop cultural awareness while strengthening language skills in a dynamic, fun, and exploratory learning environment. We offer a different thematic unit each semester so children can keep learning about different things and stay engaged while learning Spanish. Families will have access to our digital platform, where they can download songs, games, activities, guides, and the complete thematic unit book. Week Curriculum/Thematic Topic 1 Thematic Curriculum: México - Land of colors and traditions (Part 1): The students will learn about México’s unique cultural traditions and famous landmarks, will learn vocabulary related to family, food, music, celebrations, and greetings in Spanish, and will practice using these words in simple sentence structures while engaging in activities that introduce Mexican history and daily life. 2 Thematic Curriculum: México - Music, Legends, Art, and Creativity (Part 2): The students will learn about Mexican music, dance, legends, and artistic traditions, will expand their vocabulary by learning words related to animals, artwork, and cultural symbols, and will use this vocabulary in simple conversational structures as they explore Mexican storytelling, art, and movement-based activities. 3 Thematic Curriculum: Perú – Landscapes, Culture, and Inca Wonders (Part 1): The students will learn about the country of Perú, including its diverse landscapes and the ancient Inca civilization, and will learn vocabulary to describe mountains, rivers, jungles, and cultural symbols, and will use these words in simple sentence structures while discussing the significance of Machu Picchu and other important places in Perú. 4 Thematic Curriculum: Perú – Animals, Festivals, Art, and Daily Life (Part 2): The students will learn about Peruvian animals, festivals, music, and artistic traditions, and will learn vocabulary to describe animals, foods, celebrations, and dances, and will use it in simple sentence structures as they participate in activities that explore Peruvian daily life, legends, and cultural celebrations. 5 Thematic Curriculum: Argentina – Landmarks, and Gaucho Culture (Part 1): The students will learn about Argentina’s cultural traditions such as tango and gaucho life, and will learn vocabulary to describe dances, traditions, landmarks, and cultural symbols, and will use it in simple sentence structures while discussing important places and cultural practices found throughout Argentina. 6 Thematic Curriculum: Argentina – Sports, Weather, Patagonia, and Everyday Traditions (Part 2): The students will learn about Argentine sports, foods, and the landscapes of Patagonia, and will learn vocabulary to describe weather, seasons, sports, and foods, and will use it in simple sentence structures while discussing how climate and daily traditions vary across different regions of Argentina. 7 Thematic Curriculum: Colombia – Biodiversity, Culture, and Daily Life (Part 1): The students will learn about Colombia’s diverse landscapes and animals, and will learn vocabulary to describe wildlife, food, and daily life in Colombia and learn to use it in simple sentence structures, and will discuss how Colombia’s different regions—from the Amazon rainforest to the Caribbean coast—offer unique cultural and natural experiences. 8 Review; final showcase.
