Week Skills Lesson/Activity 1 Dribbling Develop dribbling skills with close control when having your head up. 2 Turning Develop turning skills in order to change directions. 3 Dribbling 1v1 Develop dribbling skills with speed to beat a defender. 4 Ball Control Develop close ball control with all parts of the body. 5 Short Passing Develop short passing skills along the ground with accuracy. 6 Pass and Move Develop passing and movement off the ball (support play). 7 Shooting Develop shooting skills with the laces. 8 Receiving the Ball on the Ground Develop close control (1st touch) with both feet under pressure.

Get ready for a delicious adventure with our Cake Decorating course designed just for young bakers! Over eight fun-filled weeks, they'll learn to whip up American Buttercream and get hands-on experience with piping bags. From creating eye-catching cake borders to crafting beautiful flowers, each session is packed with simple techniques that lead to stunning results. By the end, your little baker will be ready to wow friends and family with their impressive new skills! Week Skill Lesson/Activity 1 Class Introduction and basic food safety Food safety, set expectations, discuss schedule 2 Making American Buttercream, piping stars and shells Measure ingredients to make buttercream. Learn how to prep, fill, and hold piping bags. Pipe stars and shells. 3 Piping dots, dot borders, rosettes, and leaves Learn how to pip dots, dot borders, and rosettes. 4 Decorate a cake – seasonal theme Learn how to ice a cake, decorate cake with techniques learned. 5 Zig zag and hydrangea Practice on fake cupcakes 6 Using flower nails to create flowers and seasonal characters. Teach students how to properly use flower nails and how to pipe sunflowers using the flower nail and creating seasonal designs. 7 Braided and rose boarder Students will learn how to pipe different borders. 8 Decorate Final Cupcakes Students will decorate cupcakes using skills learned and take them home.

We include sport skill development, rules, and etiquette lessons, physical activity, and a STEAM component that examines the concepts through the lens of the sport. All equipment is provided. How do we shift our weight? 8 Assessment Day The objective of Assessment Day is to evaluate each student’s progress in each skill to create a progress report to take home.
