TGA Multi-Sport Program

TGA Premier Sports features team-based sports designed to develop well-rounded athletes and strong team players. Students are introduced to a rotating lineup of exciting sports including lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, floor hockey, and flag football. Our program structure makes it easy for kids to try new formats, discover what they enjoy most, and build a solid foundation in multiple sports. All equipment will be provided.

Week Sport – Skill Instruction Station Activities
1 Lacrosse – Cradle, scoop, pass/catch Uni – Pass catch | S – Cradle | P/C – Roll to scoop | D – Grid defense
2 Lacrosse – Shooting on the move, face offs Uni – Group juggle | S – Scoop to shoot | P/C – Basic catch | D – Get to the goal
3 Ultimate Frisbee – Catching, backhand and forehand Basic catch, shuffle pass, can jam
4 Ultimate Frisbee – Officiating and defense Can jam, box drill
5 Volleyball – Throw, catch, set, pass Pass catch, shuffle pass, triangle, and wall setting
6 Volleyball – Serve (underhand and overhand), skills review Group juggle, bounce to spike, bounce to spike, toss/set to spike
7 Floor Hockey – Holding the stick, puck control, passing Uni – Pass/catch | P – Leading | C – Simple dribble | S – Run and shoot
8 Floor Hockey – Shooting body position and grip Uni – Group juggle | P – Circle pass with movement | C – Stick poke | S – Weave and shoot
9 Flag Football – Flag pulling, centers, running backs, quarterbacks, receivers Uni – Pass and catch, flag, tag | QB – 5 spot | RB – Square sprints
10 Flag Football – Rushing the QB, defensive backs, interceptions Uni – Person in middle, flag pass rush | QB – 3 short/3 long | RB – Pitch to pass
